Wheelchair Triage Therapist (Home Based)

Working in partnership with the NHS, all of our Wheelchair Service Centres provide excellent facilities for clients, carers and staff. We provide a range of wheelchairs and associated accessories to maximise the independence of our clients, helping them towards meeting their potential.
The Role -
Work as an autonomous practitioner triaging referral forms received into our wheelchair services to establish eligibility, priority and complexity level. Working to a set eligibility criteria, using clinical reasoning to determine the appropriate pathway for the service user. You can be based at home or at one of our 12 wheelchair service centres in England with the days and hours to suit you.
Full training will be provided at our nearest wheelchair service centre.

The Person:
• A BSc degree in Occupational or Physiotherapy / experience of working at band 4 level within an Occupational Therapy team.
• Current HCPC /professional registration
• Experience of undertaking holistic assessments
• Previous experience of working in a Wheelchair service is desirable but not essential.
