We are looking for Quality Engineering professional to join a Global Quality team - do you fancy working within a unique and highly skilled manufacturing sector that keeps us firmly gripped to the road!?
The role
You will be required to support and lead corporate initiatives and projects, taking ownership of plant assessments and audits, as well as the follow up of actions and improvements. The Quality Engineer will demonstrate a leadership mentality, implementing and encouraging a culture of uniformity and process standardisation for product assembly and finishing. You will be required to work closely with technical, commercial, program management and manufacturing, supporting harmonisation of quality goals and objectives. The Quality Engineer will be asked to provide input to Global Corporate Control Plans and the auditing process, aligned to regulatory requirements. You will need to be able to build a Quality toolbox, providing training for Global standardisation.
The requirements
You will ideally possess a bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical) or Mathematics, as well as:
- Demonstrable experience of working within the tire/tyre manufacturing industry
- Possess a natural aptitude for mathematics
- Have experience of delivering Process Improvements within a manufacturing environment
- An ability/availability to travel up to 40% as part of the role
- Be a flexible communicator, able to reach a varied audience and technical skill set
- Demonstrate a desire of career development within a Quality engineering capacity
